Of course, the best solution to dieting-related bad breath is to abort the diet, and let your metabolic mechanism recover naturally. But this may be an impossible option for those who are unwilling to forgo the diet. So, the next best things are:
- Give yourself some "day-off" the diet
- Drink ample water (around 8 glasses a day)
- Eat at regular intervals
- Eat more fruits and vegetables
- Eat less meat
- Avoid foods and drinks that cause bad breath, such as garlic and alcohol
- Chew sugar-free mints if your mouth is dry
- Use a mouthwash. Gargle for 30 seconds before spitting it out.
